Our Wedding Planning Intern Program is a competitive opportunity open exclusively to or post-college adults dedicated to pursuing a future career in the wedding and/or events industries. Every Spring and Fall, we carefully select one intern to join our team. *Internships are unpaid, but we do provide accommodations and meals for destination weddings.

A commitment to a 12-week internship program, which includes weekly Zoom meetings and weekly assignments that help immerse you into the events industry (5-10 hours per week on non-event weeks and 15-25 hours on event weeks).

Pre-event, in-person, Zoom, or phone meetings, venue walkthroughs, and in-person vendor meetings are optional but strongly recommended. 

Wedding rehearsal attendance is optional but strongly recommended.

You should be able to commit to the entire wedding day, with advance notice, as times and locations vary.

Each intern is given access to a suite of resources and templates. 

Each intern receives hands-on experience with pre-event meetings, email communication with vendors and clients, and day-of wedding coordination experience, with a lead planner.

A great resume builder - Charming Carolina Events and Weddings is one of the Triad's most highly sought after wedding and event planning companies. 

Most interns become paid day of production assistants for future events.
